Driving Directions from Key Locations
Whether you are staying in Napier, Hastings, or Havelock North, reaching our winery bike hire location is straightforward. Please allow ample time for travel, especially during peak holiday periods, to ensure you start your tour on time.
From Hastings (10–12 minutes)
Heading from Hastings, take Omahu Road over the Hawkes Bay Expressway and continue west until the junction with State Highway 50. Turn left onto SH50 towards the vineyards.
You will see signs for major wineries such as Trinity Hill as you get closer. Go past Ngatarawa Road for 1 Km and you will see the sign for Ash Ridge Winery and On Yer Bike Winery Tours. Turn in On Yer Bike is located on the left-hand side of the driveway with clear signage and plenty of parking available.
From Havelock North (20 minutes)
Leave Havelock North via Te Aute Road heading north east. Follow the signs towards Bridge Pa on Longlands Road. At the junction with Railway Road, go straight ahead continuing on Longlands Road. At the Maraekakaho Road roundabout, take the second exit onto Maraekakaho Road.
Go past the entrance to Hastings Golf Club and just past the entrance to the aerodrome, turn right onto Ngatarawa Road. At the end of Ngatarawa Road, turn left onto State Highway 50.
In 1 Km you will see the sign for Ash Ridge Winery and On Yer Bike Winery Tours. Turn in, On Yer Bike Winery Tours is located on the left-hand side of the driveway with clear signage and plenty of parking available.
From Napier (20–25 minutes)
From Napier, follow State Highway 50/Hawkes Bay Expressway heading south towards Hastings. At the Links road roundabout take the second exit and continue straight on State Highway 2/Hawkes Bay Expressway down to the Omahu Road roundabout.
Turn right into Omahu Road (3rd exit) and go west through the industrial area until the junction with State Highway 50. Turn left onto SH50 towards the vineyards.

From Napier, follow State Highway 50/Hawkes Bay Expressway heading south towards Hastings. At the Links Road roundabout, turn right (3rd exit) and follow Links Road/SH50. Turn left at the golf course onto State Highway 50 to Fernhill. A kilometer after the Fernhill /Omahu Bridge turn right at the junction and continue on State Highway 50.

Parking Information
We have free on-site parking for all On Yer Bike customers, including space for vans and minibuses for groups. It’s safe, off the road, and located next to the bike pickup point for easy access. You can leave cars overnight at your own risk. The gates are locked nightly and normally open by 9am.
Arriving by Taxi, Shuttle or Rideshare
Many visitors choose not to drive—great choice when you’re wine tasting! Taxi and shuttle services from Hastings, Napier and Havelock North know our location well. If you’re using Uber or a rideshare service, simply drop the pin on On Yer Bike Winery Tours and your driver will be led directly to us.
