What types of bikes can I hire?
We offer a range of bikes for winery tours including Cruiser Bikes, Electric Bikes, and Tandems. Each type is designed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable ride, catering to different preferences and fitness levels. Cruiser Bikes are perfect for a leisurely pace, while Electric Bikes provide extra assistance for those who want to cover more ground with less effort. Tandems are a fun option for pairs wanting to ride together.

How much does it cost to hire a bike?
We have several bike types and prices are different for each. This price includes the bike, helmet, a detailed map, and route briefing. We strive to offer competitive rates to make your biking experience both enjoyable and affordable. Cruiser Bikes - Bike hire prices start at $60 per person for a full day. Tandem Bikes - Bike hire prices start at $120 per bike (two people) for a full day. Electric Bikes - Bike hire prices start at $95 per person for a full day.

What are your operating hours?
We have two seasons that we operate in and adjust the days accordingly. It’s best to plan your visit within these days to make the most of your biking and winery experience. Summer Season - Labour Weekend (end of October) to Easter. During summer we operate from Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on Monday, Tuesday, due to the number of wineries you can visit is limited. However, we are open on Monday and Tuesday from 27th December to about hte middle of January when more wineries are open. Winter Season - Easter to Labour Weekend (end of October) In Autumn, Winter, and Spring, there are fewer wineries open to visit. During this time we operate from Thursday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We publish a list on our front page of who is open and keep it up to date. Do I need to book in advance?
While advance booking is not mandatory, it is highly recommended, especially during peak seasons and weekends. Booking in advance ensures that you secure your preferred bike type and avoid disappointment. You can easily book online through our website or contact us directly.

Are tasting fees included in the bike hire cost?
Tasting fees at the wineries are not included in the bike hire cost. These fees typically range from $15 to $20 per person and are payable directly at the wineries. Each winery has its own tasting fees and policies, so it’s a good idea to check in advance.

Can I visit wineries at my own pace?
Yes, our tours are self-guided, allowing you to visit the wineries at your own pace. You can spend as much time as you like at each winery, enjoying the tastings, food, and the beautiful surroundings. Our detailed maps and route guidance help you navigate easily and make the most of your day.

Do you provide maps and route guidance?
Absolutely. We provide a comprehensive map and a detailed route briefing before you set off. Our maps highlight the best routes, key attractions, and wineries, ensuring you have all the information you need for a smooth and enjoyable ride.

What happens if I have a flat tire or other issues during my ride?
We offer roadside assistance throughout the day. If you encounter any issues such as a flat tire or mechanical problems, simply contact us and we will provide prompt assistance to get you back on the road quickly.

Is there parking available at your location?
Yes, we have ample parking space available at our location. You can park your car securely while you enjoy your biking tour.

Do you provide transport to and from accommodations?
We do not provide pick-up or drop-off services. However, local taxi services can be arranged for transport to and from our location. Please plan your transport accordingly.

What should I bring on the day of the tour?
Bring a valid ID, comfortable clothing, and sunscreen. It’s also a good idea to bring a bottle of water and some snacks, although many wineries offer food and beverages. Please do not bring alcohol. It is not permitted to take your own alcohol onto a licensed premise.

What if the weather is bad on the day of my booking?
We recommend checking the weather forecast before you book, particularly if you are booking wihtin seven days. For longer bookings, we have other options available such as postponing. If the weather looks unfavorable, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options. We aim to be flexible and accommodating, ensuring you have the best possible experience. Can I organize a group event or corporate outing?
Yes, we can cater to group events and corporate outings. We can accommodate groups ranging from 2 to 40 people. Group biking tours are a fantastic way to enjoy team-building activities or celebrate special occasions. Unfortunately we do not do group discounts as we believe we already offer the best price.

Are there any age restrictions for bike hire?
People under (18) eighteen years of age must be accompanied by an adult. We also do not hire ebikes to people under 18 years. We have family-friendly options and can provide bikes suitable for younger riders to ensure everyone can enjoy the experience safely.

Our route includes several renowned wineries such as Trinity Hill, Sileni Wines, Paritua Winery, Alpha Domus, and Ash Ridge Winery. Each offers unique wines and beautiful settings, making your biking tour a delightful and diverse tasting experience.
